Annual Meeting Minutes 2020

BPC Annual Meeting Minutes 10/23/2020 Sponsors present-MaryAnn Blades, Braces Williams, Jeannine Cerny, Heidi Evetts, Charlie Murphy, Buffy Ellsworth, Kassie Scates, Kelly Sanders, Jil Deaton and Allexis Deaton. Visitors Arielle Fulk and Lydia Grider.

Meeting called to order at 7 pm. Treasurer’s report given by Kelly Sanders. Jeannine Cerny made a motion to approve, Jil Deaton seconded. Treasurer’s report was approved.

Nominating report was given by Buffy Ellsworth. All officers are willing to continue serving. MaryAnn Blades-DC, Jeannine Cerny-JDC, Kelly Sanders -Treasurer and Heidi Evetts- Secretary all approved.

Winter Meetings-Jeannine will send an email with who wants to rate and set up the date by Monday Nov. 2nd and dates that don’t work.

Unmounted meetings on Friday nights and mounted meetings will be held on Saturday’s. November’s mounted meeting tabled. It was mentioned to see if doing a mounted meeting as a fox hunt with Shawnee Hounds.

Quiz is still happening as of right now but not sure of any info so more to come.

Regional Meeting will be via Zoom this year on Nov 7, 6-8pm. Let Mary Ann know if you would like to attend and she will get you an invitation.

Quiz study sessions will begin the end of December. More info to come on those.

Clinics with Robert Mendoza and Lotta Eklund were discussed. Since Lotta Eklund already comes to our area she was preferred.

National Dues are $145. There is a $10 discount for early renewal before November 15, and a Covid “loyalty” discount of $25 for renewing members.

A motion was made to reduce BPC dues for this year only (2021) to $5. Jeannine made a motion to approve, Bracee seconded. Motion approved.

Summary of dues: $110 for dues if pay by Nov 15th, after Nov 15th $120 for renewing members. Regional dues are $25 and sponsor’s fee is $1. BPC dues $5. National dues can be paid online or through the club and Regional and Club dues paid to BPC. Regional Dues are due by November 7th. Let Mary Ann know by November 7th if you are going to be joining for next year. Mail your checks for Regional and Club dues to Kelly Sanders 123 South County Line Rd Carbondale, IL 62902 Or you can send it to her via PayPal BoskeydellPC.treasurer@gmail.com chose “friends and family” to avoid service charges.

A motion was made to gift Jill O’Donoghue a $200 gift card for our appreciation of all her help. Jill had waived her $400 facility fee for the BPC Fall Fun Show and volunteered her time for several hours. Jeannine made the motion and Kassie made the 2nd. Motion approved.

The Facebook group for the 2020-2021 will be updated.

Kickoff party TBA after rating.
